Speakers to our various groups of students. The Empowerment Speakers conduct a brief presentation about their profession; perhaps tell stories about their career paths; speak about education and the importance of reading, writing, and other subjects; provide life lessons and advice.
Empowerment Speakers used music, visual arts, and hands-on activities during presentations to entertain and educate the students. There is no set format: we seek an hour during which the kids will gain a little insight into life's options and lessons. Regardless of the speaker's subject, the kids always have many questions. If speakers want to discuss more than just their career and education, potential topics can be discussed prior. Each session lasts about an hour.
