Youth Programs
The National Lighthouse Foundation assists underserved youth by providing opportunities that promote positive outcomes. This program will provide informal instruction and active learning through guided hands-on classroom training.
• Opportunities for new roles and responsibilities through nurturing their assets, team building activities, and community involvement.
• Emotional support: college interns will assist the youth with their ability to relate to and meet the students where they are in life.
• Strategic Support: one-on-one assessments and goal mapping to set a timeline for successful entry into the following stages of life.
Services shall include a structured program consisting of, but not limited to, the following services:
a. Youth Mentoring,
b. Tutorial
c. Life Skills, Career, and Postsecondary Readiness
d. Individual counseling and support;
e. Group counseling and support
